Heritage Museum, Main St: Tree Lighting ceremony, 6pm

Just when you stopped feeling full from the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pies from Thanksgiving, it's time to start celebrating again! Christmas decorations are going up all around the city. The city of Santa Monica is putting up their Christmas tree at the Heritage Museum, with sounds from the Santa Monica High School Choir. If you're feeling up to it, follow the crowds to Edgemar Center to see the shopping cart tree where there will be more music and dancing!Now if only Saulte would offer a deal here, it could be a perfect night!
